SHOOTER SHREYASI SINGH BAGGED GOLD IN THE WOMEN’S DOUBLE TRAP ON DAY-7 COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2018

Earlier too Shreyasi Singh had won the silver medal for India at 2014. She was also a member of Indian team at the 2013 trap shooting world cup held in Acapulco, Mexico.
VARSHA VARMAN, another contestant in the women’s doubles trap finished outside the podium. Shreyasi was on the second position while varsha was on the third after three rounds.
Recently, shreyasi also won a silver medal in the double trap event at the 2017 commonwealth shooting championship.
She held her nerve and produced some excellent shooting to win the women’s double trap gold medal in 21st commonwealth games here on Wednesday.
